How do I report an intimate image shared without my consent? – LDS Singles

Quick answer: If someone has shared an intimate image of you, or threatened to, report it immediately. Use Report with the reason Harassment for anything on LDS Singles, and contact Customer Support for anything else. These reports go to our Trust & Safety team.

You don't need to send us the image.
Never pay someone who threatens to share images of you.
Keep the messages — don't delete the conversation.
Reports are confidential. We won't tell the other member who reported them.

This page is for intimate images or videos of you that were shared, or threatened to be shared, without your permission — including images that were faked or altered to look like you. We treat these reports as urgent.

How to report it

If the image or threat appears on LDS Singles, click/tap the 3-dot icon, tap "Report" and select "Harassment" as the reason from the member's profile or conversation. Step-by-step instructions are in How do I report suspicious or inappropriate behavior?.
If it was shared somewhere else, or you can no longer see it — contact Customer Support and tell us what happened.

What to send us

Tell us the other member's profile name, the city and age shown on their profile, and where the image was shared. If it was shared on LDS Singles, tell us roughly when.

You don't need to attach the image. Describing it is enough for us to act.

What we do

Within 48 hours of receiving the request, we remove the content, take action on the account responsible, and preserve what's needed for any investigation.

If someone is threatening to share images unless you pay

This is sextortion, and it's a crime. Don't pay — people who pay are usually asked for more.

Stop replying, but don't delete the conversation.
Take screenshots of the profile and of the threats.
Report it to us, and report it to your local police.
In the United States, you can also report it to the FBI at ic3.gov.

Getting images taken down elsewhere

If you're 18 or older — Go to StopNCII.org. It creates a digital fingerprint of an image on your own device and shares it with participating platforms so copies can be detected and blocked. The image itself never leaves your device.
If you're under 18, or the images are of someone under 18 — use the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children's Take It Down service at takeitdown.ncmec.org. You can also report the account to us — see How do I report someone I believe is under 18?.
