I think my account was hacked or compromised

If you notice activity you don't recognize — messages you didn't send, profile changes you didn't make, or login codes you didn't request — act quickly to secure your account.

Secure your login first

LDS Singles doesn't use a password — you log in with a one-time code sent to your email, or with Facebook, Google, or Apple. That means whoever controls your email or social login controls your account. So the most important step is to secure that account:

  • If you sign in with email: log in to your email provider, change its password, and turn on two-factor authentication. Review its recent activity and sign out other devices.
  • If you sign in with Facebook, Google, or Apple: secure that account the same way — new password and two-factor authentication.

Then secure LDS Singles

Once your email or social login is secure, contact us with the details so we can review and help secure your account. Please don't try to fix login or profile issues yourself — our support team will take it from there.

If your account has already been banned or locked, please also contact customer support for further assistance.

Protect yourself going forward: never share your login code with anyone — we will never ask you for it — and be cautious of messages asking you to "verify" your account through outside links.
